Just found Yodeck and running a free single screen, in the future Im sure there is scope to upgrade as we are a school,
now, one thing I need on the layout, is the school period (Registration, P1,P2, etc) so far for this, I made a php page on my linux web server, and it just reports back the period based on a csv, "if time > start && < end show perid name" nothing too crazy, but Im having issues getting it to use the correct time, should be BST but it keeps showing the wrong hour, so I changed to UTC and it was fine, but doenst want to update when the time changes, so.... Im thinking of in app scripting, can anyone point me in how to do this?
I figure uploading a CSV to the media folder for a script to read off might be out of scope for how it works, so if the script had the times in a Dictionary or something and jsut ran as is it wouldnt be the end of the world, its only me editing at this stage, and if and when we grow users and screens I'll most likely end up teaching them how to do it anyway...
