I'd like to view the daily menu for a hotel restaurant, and I have a file on Google Drive that's updated daily. Unfortunately, I can't get this file to sync. I tried saving it as both a PDF and an image, but it doesn't work. The file is shared with anyone with the link and was imported via the URL.

Nothing! It won't update!

What can I do to fix this?

i was wondering , if i am missing the possibility of grouping screens.
I need to combine screens on our floors/departments to groups and distribute content to them.
But also i need the ability to add "basic" content to any screen at all time.
Does anybody have a hint for me how to do this ?

So as an example:

Screen 1 and 2 are on floor 1
Screen 3 and 4 on floor 2

1&2 shall play content A,B and C, 3&4 D&E
but all 4 must play content Z as this concerns everybody.

Emergency Alerts let you instantly interrupt your normal content and display an important message on your screens. Instead of showing menus, promotions, or dashboards, your displays can immediately switch to emergency instructions during situations such as a fire, severe weather, a security incident, or an evacuation.

What makes it especially useful is its flexibility. You can:

• Broadcast to every screen or only to specific locations (such as a particular building or floor).

• Use one of the built-in alert types or create your own.

• Display a simple alert, an evacuation map, a custom layout, or any content you've already created.

• Edit the message before sending it and choose how long it stays on screen.

One small but important detail: after you configure Emergency Alerts, make sure to Push to Players. This downloads the alert content to each player, so when you need to broadcast an alert, the content appears almost instantly.

So a typical menu screen will have the day and date, the meal Breakfast, lunch or dinner. I put a horizontal line across to divide the header from the meal items. The meal items are a bulleted list with a word wrap at the end of a word for easier readability.
I think its about 52 or 54 point serif font. Alternate items are a slightly smaller font and italicized. This is done in Javascript.

The json is embedded into index.html something like this:
