Did you know you can create a multi-screen choreography experience with Yodeck using standard functionality?

By carefully synchronizing your content, you can create the illusion of objects or characters moving seamlessly from one screen to another—even when the displays are in different locations throughout a store, shopping mall, or other venue. It's a simple way to create a more immersive experience and tell a story that extends beyond a single display.

The attached example is intentionally basic and uses just two screens, each driven by its own Yodeck Player. The same concept can easily be expanded to many screens across an entire retail space or public venue. Adding synchronized audio can make the experience even more engaging.

The creative possibilities are almost endless. Imagine:

A product moving from one display to the next as customers walk through a store.

A character walking through a door on one screen and emerging from another display further away.

Large outdoor LED billboards on opposite sides of a freeway or integrated into different building façades, where content appears to travel across physical space.

The timing can be as simple or as precise as you need. You can estimate the transition timing or calculate it based on the physical distance between displays and the movement speed of the animated content for a highly convincing effect.

I'd love to hear what others think. Has anyone else experimented with something similar, or can you think of other creative use cases?

<attachment data-id="X0OMNX2RPQfILDqaVaURM" data-type="attachment"></attachment>

<attachment data-id="Fc4iFaGxPUCK7EqvpCulF" data-type="attachment"></attachment>

Just found Yodeck and running a free single screen, in the future Im sure there is scope to upgrade as we are a school,

now, one thing I need on the layout, is the school period (Registration, P1,P2, etc) so far for this, I made a php page on my linux web server, and it just reports back the period based on a csv, "if time > start && < end show perid name" nothing too crazy, but Im having issues getting it to use the correct time, should be BST but it keeps showing the wrong hour, so I changed to UTC and it was fine, but doenst want to update when the time changes, so.... Im thinking of in app scripting, can anyone point me in how to do this?

I figure uploading a CSV to the media folder for a script to read off might be out of scope for how it works, so if the script had the times in a Dictionary or something and jsut ran as is it wouldnt be the end of the world, its only me editing at this stage, and if and when we grow users and screens I'll most likely end up teaching them how to do it anyway...

I think this feature will add quite some value to Yodeck if fully integrated.

I've been spending most of my time on this earlier in the year. The best part is that no additional hardware is required, as Bluetooth is already available (and not being used at all) on Raspberry Pi 3, 4, and 5 devices running Yodeck. The solution detects nearby BLE devices, captures anonymized proximity data, and synchronizes it to an Azure SQL database at scheduled intervals.

I've already developed and tested this successfully on Raspberry Pi 3, 4, and 5 devices running Yodeck. I'm currently trying to convince the Yodeck team to make this a native platform feature, although progress has been slow. The functionality is essentially 97% complete, with only the final integration work remaining.

Imagine combining Bluetooth foot traffic analytics with existing Proof of Play reporting. The insights this could provide for retail environments would be extremely valuable and could significantly improve how businesses measure audience engagement and campaign effectiveness.

So let's get some votes on this!
